Happiness Project Report (April-May)

Hi everyone,

Well, my motivation to keep going with my Happiness Project kept on flagging in April, so I don't really have much to report.  In general, I did a nice job staying positive through the last leg of my half marathon training, as well as during finals week (translation = I freaked out less than usual).

For May, I have decided to scale down the number of resolutions I will keep track of.  In previous months, my resolutions were cumulative, but I've decided to just pick one resolution from each of the previous themes to continue on with as I add my four new goals.

January: Track what I eat.
February: Tackle a nagging task.
March: Underreact to problems.
April: Have a date night at least once per week.

And my four new resolutions for May under the title of "Leisure":

1. Read every day.
2. Work on a project.
3. Learn something new.
4. Refuse boredom.

Hopefully these goals will keep me working on projects I am interested in and help boost my happiness as I begin my full-time summer job.  I also hope to start tracking my food again now that I am finished with half marathon training.  It was tough to watch what I ate when I was so hungry from running!

Speaking of which, stay tuned for a post about our experience running the Lincoln Half Marathon.

Unit then,
Amy
